WebGLA: a
web portal for genetic linkage analysis
in general

WebGLA is a Bioinformatics Infrastructure for Genetic
Linkage Analysis. We have proposed this web-based linkage
analysis pipeline for the increasing needs of rapid
automated linkage analysis. While the recent linkage
analysis programs are developed for specific platforms and
require further installation to use it, WebGLA allows
researchers to do linkage analysis without complicated
calculation and process. Through the web-based user
interface and the step-by-step automated pipeline,
researchers can run linkage analysis on any computers. The
WebGLA is written in PERL and currently run on a LINUX
server.
